Yoshimura-ya Ramen
Legendary ramen shop "Yoshimura-ya" is where "ie-kei" ramen started.
"ie-kei" ramen is defined by a smooth and rich pork bone soup seasoned with soy sauce. Besides the distinct soup, the toppings must include sheets of dried seaweed, a clump of spinach, and chashu pork. Also, the noodles have to be thick and straight.
We have Yoshimura-ya to thank for this Yokohama, Kanagawa (below Tokyo) ramen style. This instant ramen captures the magic of the style and its originator, Yoshimura-ya!
