Wakayama is a region that is more than passionate about its ramen.
There are 2 styles of Wakayama ramen - one is light and the other is heavy. This is the heavier one! It features a deliciously thick pork bone rich soup. But the soy sauce seasoning acts like a tangy steering wheel, helping cut through that richness. Among toppings, the decorative and colorful naruto (fish cake) stands out.
- Boil 440 ml of water
- Open lid (without removing completely)
- Place toppings in CLEAR PINK packet on top of noodles
- Pour boiled water up to line, seal lid and place DARK GREEN packet (soup) on top to heat
- After 5 minutes, break up noodles and pour in DARK GREEN and GRAY packets, mix soup and it's ready!
