Tonkotsu Gyokai Ramen
Tonkotsu = Pork Bones.
Gyokai = Seafood.
Simple enough, right? While the preparation isn't so simple, that's basically what this Tokyo ramen style is.
The soup in this style is usually thick and rich from pork bones. But there's an extra layer of umami coming from seafood - normally dried fish. Many shops even prepare two separate soups...one with pork bones and the other with the fish.
This instant ramen does "Tonkotsu Gyokai" justice, especially with the soup. Enjoy the chewy, fresh tasting noodles - a hallmark of this particular brand (Maruchan Seimen).
