Spicy Niboshi Ramen
In this spicy ramen, "niboshi" is front and center!
Niboshi are dried fish - usually sardines. They're an important Japanese ingredient, including in ramen. Aomori in Northern Japan is known for its tasty niboshi ramen. This includes some spicy styles - just like this instant ramen. The seasoning is soy sauce and spices, which hold up a rich pork bone soup. But the slightly bitter, beautiful niboshi flavor stands out most.
