Noroshi Rich Ramen

"Noroshi" is an acclaimed ramen shop in Omiya, Saitama - north of Tokyo.

They serve a "tonkotsu gyokai" style ramen. This normally means two soups - one that's pork bones and the other, fish. Just like the ramen you'll get in person at Noroshi, the instant ramen soup is rich and thick from pork bones. Its among the richest and thickest I've seen.

But there are also distinct traces of fish. In other words, "tonkotsu gyokai" hits you from two different umami directions. Lastly, the noodles are extra thick, which works well with the thick soup!
