Katsu-ura Tantanmen
In the town of Katsu-ura, this re-arranged tantanmen (spicy style of ramen) was designed to keep fishermen warm in the winter.
To do this, they add plenty of raiyu chili oil! This syrupy spiciness accompanies a soy sauce base. Another big feature of this style is the large amount of fried onions. This instant ramen makes sure those crunchy and sweet onions are properly there. Katsu-ura is located in Chiba (Southeast of Tokyo).
