Ippei Black Ramen

This instant ramen takes clear inspiration from "Toyama Black Shoyu Ramen". This regional ramen features a soup that's as black as night.

Just like in the Toyama region, this instant ramen's soup is peppery and salty. The cover says "you'll be craving white rice". This is a nod to Toyama, where white rice is often served as a side dish with the ramen. The thick noodles and fried garlic chips are a special treat. The brand that makes this instant ramen (Ippei-chan) is actually best known for instant yakisoba (Japanese fried noodles).

- Boil 440 ml of water
- Open lid (without removing completely), remove packets
- Place toppings in clear pink packet on top of noodles
- Pour boiled water up to line, seal lid
- After 5 minutes, break up noodles and pour in orange and purple packets (2), mix soup and it's ready!
