Genki Ippai Ramen
The cover on this instant ramen says "Ramen Shop without a Signboard". There is indeed no signboard outside "Genki Ippai". But customers know they're at the right place when they see the light blue bucket hanging outside.
"Genki Ippai" is among Fukuoka's most celebrated tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen shops. Their tonkotsu soup is creamy to the point that it tastes like milk. This instant ramen soup has the same delicious milky consistency. Enjoy the noodles mopping up that rich soup and the chewy kikurage (wood ear mushroom) toppings!

- Boil 430 ml of water
- Open lid (without removing completely), remove packets
- Place toppings in clear blue packet on top of noodles
- Pour boiled water up to line, seal lid, wait 4 minutes
- Break up noodles, add pink and green packets (2) mix soup, and it's ready!
