Chuukasoba Ramen

“Chuukasoba” describes an older style of ramen. Think of it as classic but anything but boring! The word literally means “Chinese soba”, which harkens to the Chinese roots of ramen. Chuukasoba is something you can find all over the country - it perhaps best represents the heart and soul of ramen.

This instant chuukasoba is closer to what you’d find in and around Tokyo. There’s a light shoyu (soy sauce) foundation with a soup that’s beautifully balanced between chicken and fish. The most impressive topping is the big slab of juicy pork. This is hands-down one of the best slabs of pork you’ll find in instant ramen!
